Our client is a global Systems Integrator who requires VMWare SMEs with DV for an on-going programme with one of their largest and long-standing customers.

RATE: £500-£550 PER DAY
LOCATION: MUST BE ON-SITE BUT CAN BE EITHER GLASGOW OR NEWCASTLE

SPEC:
Engineer with broad experience of Wintel server technologies and services, and virtualization technologies including VMWare.

Requirements:
-Strong knowledge of Wintel Server Operating Systems - Wintel Server 2008/2012/16/19
-Active Directory
-VMWare ESX/ESXi and associated products
-Sys Admin & CMDB skills
-WSUS & Other patching tool knowledge
-Working knowledge of SAN configuration
-Good working knowledge hardware platforms
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Knowledge of monitoring alerting, logging and status messages
-Fundamental networking knowledge - IP, DNS, IP routing, network address translation etc.
-Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with Windows Server operating systems
-ITIL- must understand principles
-Automation principles and application

Desirable:
-Scripting skills, Powershell, Python
