My Leeds based client is looking to recruit an experienced Service Desk Manager with a demonstrable background working within Finance.
As Finance Service Desk Manager, you will be tasked with leading on the design, implementation and management of a refreshed service desk model within international finance. You will provide the lead on improving and embedding self service capabilities into the wider finance support model, including a revised knowledge base, query resolution procedures and the development of service management performance metrics.
Acting as the primary point of escalation, the Service Desk Manager will work closely with key stakeholders and IT teams.
More specifically you will:
Manage and oversee all Finance Service Desk queries, ensuring quick and efficient resolution
Manage the service request queue
Run daily huddles and service desk meetings
Create and maintain team processes
Undertake continual service improvement
The chosen Service Desk Manager will possess a proven background working in large scale Finance Transformation programmes - ideally in Professional services implementing new billing and Front Office process design. Knowledge of ServiceNow highly beneficial.
