Technical writer/Process Designer
Assignment Duration: 12 months Glasgow Hybrid role.

A leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services.

Primary Responsibilities:

We are looking for technical writer, someone with strong experience in process design/process reading (security design); the role involves the creation and documentation intent to assist developers and architect. This position is responsible for gathering technical information; test procedures to identify KPIs.

Technical writer and process designer who can create clear and detailed documentation, including runbooks and procedures, and ensure that the processes are operational and well-understood.

Must have the ability to interface effectively with engineers, security personnel and architects (across divisions and geographies) to identify how processes are performed. The resultant documentation will be created based on interviews and available documentation. Created runbook must include RACI charts, process flows, overview of processes and an appropriate level of narrative so that runbooks can be used operationally whilst being functionally auditable.

The ideal candidate will have experience with creating process documentation for IT or IS organizations that are used for operational run. An excellent command of written English is required and the ability to translate technical details into conceptual diagrams, workflows and overviews are key.
