Health and Safety Manager

Here at Burman Solutions, we are working with a great client who is looking for an experienced Health and safety manager based on a 3-month period. The client currently oversees 12,500 homes and looking to build another 3800 by 2025, based in Essex. The organisation works closely with its residents ensuring they can become share holders and effect the needed change into the community and housing sector.

Core responsibilities-

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with departments to ensure all health and safety rules are followed accordingly and to integrate the needed development.
  • Legal Compliance & Assurance: Be the forefront for interpreting H&S laws and regulations and their implications and meanings.
  • Strategic Planning: Lead the creation and execution of operational and strategic H&S management plans.
  • Team Development: Ensure robust training programs for comprehensive staff competence in H&S.

Qualification-

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent level 5 qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Technical IOSH status minimum.
  • Extensive experience in operational Health & Safety, preferably in the housing sector.
