As part of your role you will provide assistance to the creation, negotiation and placement of subcontracts and other duties required by the Manager. You will review bid contracts with clear and actionable SLA's and deliverables, extending, and renegotiating contract/s as appropriate and serving as a primary point of liaison with subcontractors and suppliers prior to award. Your responsibilities will also entail interacting with legal, procurement, and managers as appropriate to ensure timely and accurate contract preparation and problem resolution whilst also assisting project teams in notified breach of contracts as necessary and in a timely manner. You will need to communicate with management and staff on requested information and proper documentation regarding contracts on a regular basis and expedite the review and execution of contracts and maintain comprehensive filing system and computer database for all contracts awarded.
You will ideally have a qualification related to procurement (e.g. CIPS, Supply Chain Management, Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying)
Experience within and the ability to review contracts, NDAs, License Agreements, Purchase Agreements, License Renewals, Services Agreement, Statements of Work, Amendments, and Schedules is neccasary. Good communication skills, knowledge of procurement regulations, contract agreements, and legal terminology is required. A good level of contract management experience is needed and knowledge of contracts for construction services (water sector would be advantageous). You will be managing contract systems and independent preparation of both simple and complex legal documents, general correspondence, briefs and/or contracts so experience of this is required. To be conversent Microsoft Software Suite (eg excel, word, access) is also advantagous
