My client is a market leading blue-chip organisation and are currently seeking a target driven, motivated and experienced Sales Manager to undertake their challenging Head of Sales role, based in their Leeds city centre location.

The Head of Sales is a very diverse role, but the fundamentals are to successfully deliver on the sales business plan by providing the effective leadership and coaching required to maximise team performance and achieve revenue growth through up selling, lateral selling, cross selling and value selling.

The successful candidate will lead, coach, manage and motivate a team to deliver high performance against revenue and KPO targets and best-in-class service. You will use sales data to define and implement a sales strategy that ensures every customer and opportunity is actively managed and proactively engaged with. You will

promote and drive high performance ensuring that sales methodologies are implemented and provide continuous training/coaching in collaboration with Sales Strategy and Operations. All performance and employment issues also fall within your remit.

As well as the continuous training and development of your existing team your responsibility will also include the on boarding and recruitment of new starters to ensure standards are always maintained.

The Head of Sales is also expected to produce detailed reports to inform the business on performance against business goals, prepare a robust operating plan to inform sales billings forecast at each Review Forecast per quarter to ensure that Budget and Operating Plans are met, define and monitor success metrics (for deep-dive analysis), which ensure the organisation are optimising their pricing and packaging.

The ideal individual for this role will be able to demonstrate exceptional people management and coaching capabilities including decisive leadership, setting clear direction and motivating/coaching a committed team to excel. You must have a solid sales track record, with responsibility for delivery of large revenue targets.
