IT BUSINESS ANALYST 12 MONTH INITIAL CONTRACT WITH SIGNIFICANT OPPORTUNITES TO STAY LONGER TERM (BASINGSTOKE, PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY): £35 PER HOUR. WORLD LEADING MULTINATIONAL COMPANY, FANTASTIC WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND ROLE.

The Client

Our client is quite simply one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies, with a reputation for being one of the best organisations to work for globally. We are presently seeking a Business Analyst for an initial 12 month contract. This is a rolling 12 month contract and likely to be a long term placement.



The Position

The UK Hub IT team’s overarching role is to link the UK Hub affiliates to the IT central organisation and local business function and will specifically be charged with:

Enabling business effectiveness and maximising value by identifying opportunities in or across business areas leveraging technology, process or information.

Delivering projects which improve business results and deliver exceptional Customer Experiences.

Ensuring IT assets are ‘fit for purpose’.

Ensuring sustainability of the overall IT operating model and capability

This IT Business Integrator role is based in the UK and supports the UK Hub group of countries. The Business Integrator be knowledgeable about business unit strategies, priorities, IT processes, and is able to link IT opportunities and issues with business needs.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities where technology can be introduced or enhanced to drive better outcomes.

Represent IT Capabilities, influence business strategy and challenge where appropriate.

Align solutions that balance affiliate and corporate goals.

Lead projects by gathering, refining, prioritising requirements and coordinating delivery.

Collaborate with 3rd party vendors on solution development and delivery.

Effectively assess and communicate the value of contrasting IT solutions.

Appropriately advocate change in the organisation through new ways of working be it, adoption of new technology process improvements to meet evolving business needs.

Lead, influence and drive OCM, ensuring new programs and solutions ‘arrive’ ready to deliver value.

Collaborate effectively to work as one team across IT, Infrastructure and Digital.

Coordinate with other dedicated account facing roles including the regional Speciality, Diabetes and Oncology portfolio leads to ensure alignment and drive towards a single solution.

Capture and pro-actively share best-practices and look for replication opportunities.

Support new product launches and line extensions, contributing to transforming our business to succeed with a more specialist portfolio through use of multichannel.

Experience Required

Strong networking, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.

Experience translating complex, ambiguous concepts into actionable plans.

Essential Skills

Experience project execution with capability to support multichannel, commercial organisation

Experience with an Agile approach to project delivery and supporting technologies.

Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts in non-technical language

Demonstrated ability to work in a virtual (not collocated) environment.

Demonstrated ability to deliver IT projects working with a cross functional team.

Demonstrated ability to influence without authority.

Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally.

Demonstrated understanding of the importance of quality and compliance obligations

Excellent knowledge of English.



Desirable

Applied experience developing and “selling” business cases

Applied experience with sales and marketing solutions

Knowledge of multiple languages of supported affiliates.

Experience in strategy development & business planning process.

Ability to leverage external best practice.

Experience working in an alliance relationship

Product launch support experience

Pharmaceutical or Bio Science background preferred
