Do these words scare or excite you?
If you’d love to work for a company which is a true meritocracy, where you will have a high level of visibility, where good work is rewarded, and where you are trusted with taking charge of your own projects then read on.
A great career opportunity is available for an engineer to join a growing Teeside business which will give you the chance to work on challenging projects with a broad range of scale and scope. Here the daily routine will never get too routine.
As an engineer who already has experience programming PLC or SCADA systems from scratch, the variation in technical challenges will allow you to both broaden your technical expertise and maintain that enjoyment of solving new problems and challenges which keeps work always feeling fresh. You will be working in interesting and continually evolving sectors including renewables like wind and tidal, commercial marine and offshore.
You will be able to take completion ownership on projects which will include hardware & software design, programming and commissioning of PLC-based automation systems and equipment. If you prefer to work unsupervised and like your working time broken up with a degree of travel which equates to around one day a week then this role will be a great fit for you.
This role will offer you a salary of £35,000 - £55,000 depending upon experience, but this is a role in which overtime will be frequently available and is paid at time-and-a-half. Some engineers here have doubled their salary due to overtime payments.
If you are interested in a role where you can embrace being a doer and a problem-solver and be rewarded for that then please apply for more information.
