Summary - Sterile Processing Technician Certified
Receives, cleans, distributes and stores medical instruments and equipment
* Cleans, disinfects, decontaminates, and sterilizes medical instruments and equipment using appropriate methods, substances and equipment
* Properly disposes of bio hazardous substances, chemicals, medical waste, and unusable equipment and supplies
High School diploma or GED
Six months of experience STRONGLY preferred
Licenses and Certifications
Certified as a CSPDT (Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) or CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician)
