The Intelligence Situation Awareness Tool (ISAT) is a tactical data processor which provides situation awareness by combining textual, parametric and other data using the latest algorithms to produce a near-real-time database that supports a common operating picture for both military and commercial environments. It incorporates Over-the-Horizon Targeting and Tracking data, real-time sensor reports and Order of Battle (air, electronic, ground) information to provide analysts with the intelligence they need to monitor a variety of tactical situations.
Candidate will be the primary software test engineer on the ISAT program. Standard duties will include testing new software features, regression testing existing features
creating test data to support feature testing, writing problem reports and reviewing software on-line help and user documentation. In addition, the applicant may be expected to provide support in the following areas:
• Capturing, analyzing and characterizing real-world data.
• Writing test procedures and test reports.
• Attending configuration control board (CCB) meetings.
• Developing customer training materials and performing customer training.
• Interfacing with customers to capture information about issues they are experiencing.
• Performing investigations and analyses to determine root cause for reported problems.
Occasional travel to customer sites will be required.
US Citizenship required
Currently hold or able to obtain DOD Secret Clearance or higher
Former US Military/Intelligence Analysts preferred
A strong background in military theater operations, tactical data collection and dissemination, electronic intelligence and similar fields.
MSFT Office required
MSFT Team Foundation Server (TFS) preferred
MSFT SQL Database preferred
Corporate experience is a plus
