Job Summary

Strategic Business Development Mgmt: Evaluates and manages new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures. Oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives. Defines vision, strategies, and tactics. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Job Requirements

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; especially presentation skills.- Excellent analytical skills and ability to lead negotiation meetings.- Demonstrated Mergers and Acquisitions experience.- Strong experience in business and strategy development for high tech companies.- Strong knowledge of high tech industry and markets.- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.Management and Interaction:- Management: - This position is responsible for managing a major segment of work within a broad functional area for a large country or countries, or global geographic area. - This position directs and controls the activities of a group with significant content, product and/or project outcomes. - The focus of this role is on translating functional strategies into operational plans and priorities. May develop functional strategies. - The potential impact of decisions made by this individual has significant operational or financial impact on the overall success of the function or company outcomes.- This individual will use in-depth knowledge to solve issues that are complex in scope, and establish medium to long- range plans.- This individual is accountable for managing to assigned budget.- Interaction: - This individual must demonstrate strong leadership skills by establishing clear goals, objectives and priorities that communicate the orga...

Education

BS/BA degree or equivalent related experience. 12+ years -- plus add additional experience requirements needed if you were to fill an open requisition, i.e., knowledge, skills, and abilities.
