Job Requirements

The Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) for Performance Management Team requires a combination of strong hands-on technical skills, along with the ability to present technical product information to a diverse technical audience

As customer and field facing Technical Markering Engineer, you will build and manage labs to simulate and test workloads, tune performance, capture configurations and document results.

Build lab environment to simulate large application workloads (Third Platform). Demonstrate best practices for performance tuning ONTAP Storage operating system and client networks under various workloads.

Author documentation and reports to highlight to your findings.

Create marketing collateral (PRDs, MRDs) to highlight product information and data.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Presentation skills

Data-driven decision making

Knowledge and experience with Machine Learning

Cloud knowledge and experience (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, AWS etc.)

Big Data

Performance testing

Test automation / scripting with Python or Perl

Resolve system performance issues with operating systems and networks

Client-Server Networking

Storage Systems

Knowledge of Performance Measurement Methods and tools

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential

Education

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
