Overview
Peraton is seeking a cyberspace operations specialist to support Air Force Space Command (AFSPC). You will provide expertise and coordination support to 14 AF AFSPC cyberspace operations activities as a remote liaison for 24 AF (AFCYBER). Specialist will aid in coordination of cyberspace operations orders and activities between 14 AF AFFOR Communications Control Center (14 AF ACCC) and AFCYBER.

Responsibilities
What you'll do...
  • Recommend and help improve/streamlin e/repair existing processes and implementation procedures.
  • Review the generic/AF-wide orders and write subordinate order tailoring tasks to the technical details of space systems, utilizing existing Air Force Forces (AFFOR) processes to order subordinate units to implement taskings.
  • Recommend and help improve/streamline /repair existing processes and implementation procedures.
  • Track completion of ordered tasks to subordinate units and respond to questions from subordinate units for assistance with task completion in a customer focused environment .
  • Assist units by coordinating with USSTRATCOM, USCYBERCOM, AFSPC, 624 OC (AFCYBER), and subordinate units to clarify, deconflict, and track tasks required in conducting cyberspace operations on AFSPC portions of the Air Force Network (AFNET).
  • Assist the customer by supporting routine and emergency Cyberspace Protection Team (CPT) requests. Participate in 14 AF Operational Planning Team actions as required.
  • Provide strategic theories, methodologies, and direction to customer in support of Computer Security Service Provider (CSSP) activities for AFSPC portions of the AFNET.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for team members
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; negotiate complex issues; write comprehensive studies; and maintain good working relationships.
  • Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; message distribution/retrieval programs; and Analyst Notebook.
  • Prepare and present briefings, reports, informational analyses in support of AFSPC and 14 AF.
  • Perform records management of sustainment related deliverables and documentation.
  • Participate in customer exercises, after duty hours may be required.
  • Ensure adherence to Government policies, master plans and schedules, and develop solutions to program problems.


Qualifications
You'd be a great fit if...
  • BS/BA (or equivalent applicable experience); six (6) years of related experience.
  • You have a current TS/SCI security clearance and maintain the clearance.
  • CSSP Incident Responder; CSSP Analyst; DOD 8570.01-M for IAM Level II.
  • Travel as required - approximately 25% (air/ground).
