Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role will involve supporting the operations & administration needs of a lively and vibrant computer games studio, assisting in all elements of the day-to-day running aspects of the business.

This is a varied role and requires someone who can be highly adaptable and extremely proactive with a 'hands-on' attitude.

This person will need to be a natural coordinator and organiser with a self-motivating, practical approach. An effective and efficient multi-tasker with a background in business administration. Excellent communications skills and versatile team player with a highly professional manner and an eye for detail.

A sound understanding and experience of bookkeeping and accounting practices is beneficial, but not essential for this role.

Duties will include:
Liaising with and supporting company Directors and departments.
Some Bookkeeping support (Subject to experience) - across areas of: payroll, VAT, purchases and sales, foreign currencies.
Office management - overseeing the daily upkeep of administration systems and records. Ordering of office supplies. Booking appointments. Diary management.
Facilities management - assisting with the management of utilities, services and internal systems. Arranging repairs. Coordinating schedules. Liaising with workforce teams.
Legal and professional (Subject to experience) - Occasional assistance with administration of company legal and professional matters.
Administration of client, subcontractor and third-party service agreements.
HR and personnel - maintaining personnel records. Coordinating reviews. Tracking and monitoring of holiday and sick leave. Overseeing recruitment pipelines and communication, liaising with the hiring team and candidates.
Supporting team members and departments in ad-hoc tasks as required.
Ordering & monitoring of company equipment including PC's, supplies and provisions.
Organising and booking travel & accommodation for employees and third-parties.
Events - coordinating equipment, promotional materials, supplies and provisions for commercial events and internal staff events.
Assisting with computers and IT requirements (Subject to experience).
Building relationships. Upholding and fostering company culture.

REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrable experience in a project or coordination role
Self-motivating, proactive and hands-on, with an eye for detail.
Highly organised. Efficient. Calm. Communicative. Collaborative. Ability to multitask.
High level of confidentiality and discretion
Strong Excel and Word Skills

Beneficial Experience:
Interest in the gaming industry
Experienced with computers / Sound understanding of IT systems
Bookkeeping experience
Experience with an accounts package (Xero, Sage 50 or Quickbooks or similar)
Involvement with research for bid funding opportunities & grant applications
Experience of rapid team growth / office move

Training can be provided - it is more important for us to have the right person who can adapt to and grow within the role.
