Job Title Chair, Undergraduate Programs and Assistant Professor - School of Business
Job Description The Chair of Undergraduate programs and Faculty position in the School of Business shall report to the Dean of the School and have primary responsibilities of teaching, undergraduate and graduate on-ground, and online courses, serve on graduate dissertation committee serving as chairperson and/or committee member, research/creative achievement, recruitment and service functions and shall be held accountable for these obligations as they contribute to the attainment of the mission of the University, School of Business and the Department. work as and will be responsible for assisting in the growth and development of School programs, providing positive leadership of the faculty, and effective operations of undergraduate programs within the School. With direction and supervision from the Dean, the Chair Undergraduate Programs shall help coordinate the work of the School and help interpret such work to the Dean of the School of Business and to the University at large and assist in interpreting the plans and decisions of administration to School and University faculty, staff, and students.
Required Qualifications *earned doctorate in a discipline of business; *successful teaching experience in higher education; and *record of successful experience in higher education administration.
Preferred Qualifications *experience in private higher education. *experience working as Chair or administrative role.
