The Radiologic Technologist-Cardiac Cath/Electrophysiology Lab supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality performing a variety of specialized procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab/Angio Suite and Electrophysiology Lab. Must apply an advanced level of job knowledge and skill. Is responsible for the safety of patients, physicians, employees, visitors and vendors who enter the Cardiac Cath Lab/Angio Suite and Electrophysiology Lab area. Responsible for setting and maintaining regulatory policies and procedures and QA documentation.Job Qualifications
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Current State of Arizona Radiologic Technologist license (CRT)
Two years of Cath Lab/Angiography experience required. As department resources permit, may consider one year of general radiology technologist experience or successful completion of an accredited radiology program, which includes completion of clinical rotations at YRMC.
- Must be current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Provider certified
- Current AHA ACLS required
- Must pass a basic ECG test with a score of 80% or greater within six months of hire
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Cerner strongly preferred
