Job Title: Business Development Manager – Roof Windows – Rooflights – Building Envelope – EWI – Facades – Curtain Walling – Architectural Glazing – Architects – Contractors – Developers

Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 (Dep. On Experience) + 20% of basic salary bonus

ROLE:

• Selling a range of commercial roof windows sold into a wide range of end user projects such as: Education, Healthcare, Leisure, Retail, Office and related commercial projects

• Generating specifications via Architects and Designers

• Also generating business via property developers, surveyors, contractors and building owners

• Managing projects through from conception through to completion

• Conducting regular CPD Presentations

• Regularly reporting on the business CRM system and providing regular reports

• Managing a wide variety of live projects at anyone time

• Mix of managing and expanding existing relationships and generating new business relationships

• Covering a territory which will incorporate the North of England M62 corridor territory as well as the East & West Midlands plus some Northern Home County territory and Anglia

PERSON:

• Must have a demonstrable track record in sales of building envelope system sales such as: windows, doors, roof windows, architectural glazing, cladding, curtain walling, facades, façade support systems, steel frame systems, fire / acoustic building envelope solutions, solar shading, external wall insulation, render or façade insulation

• Must be experienced in Specification sales to architects with experience of seeing projects through to completion via contractors, developers or building owners

• Understanding or appreciation for building performance surrounding acoustic / fire / thermal efficiency

• Capable of dealing with projects from specification through to completion

• Experience of managing and expanding existing client relationships

• Commercially astute, professional, organised
