Senior Environmental Permitting

The work is multidisciplinary and we will consider candidates from a wide variety of technical backgrounds including; geo-environmental, air quality, chemistry, hydrology, hydrogeology and civil engineering.
In this role, you will be working with an established successful team preparing regulatory applications to support the development of major waste management facilities including treatment plants, EfW and landfills. The work will include the preparation of Environmental Permits and planning applications. Depending on your skills, experience and interests there will also be opportunities to work on a wide range of related technical, scientific, and engineering subjects, including environmental impact studies, risk assessments, technical design, civils contract management, site investigations and contaminated land assessment.
• A relevant first degree and preferably a higher degree.
• Chartered status and/or membership of a relevant scientific or engineering professional institution would be an advantage.
• A minimum of 2 yrs experience of waste regulation, for more senior roles can go up to 20 years.
• Experience of preparing Environmental permitting for landfills facilities
• Consultancy experience.
