Key Account Executive

Located in Rochdale

Hours, 39 a week

Salary is dependent on experience (10% Bonus Scheme)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Key Account Executive, whilst this position is located in Rochdale it does require UK and European travel. This is an opportunity within a well-established manufacturing company with sites worldwide.

As a Key Account Manager you would be responsible for the sales and account for the Tooling section within the company, you are the customer’s primary contact for customers, developing business plans and managing customers on a day to day basis.


* Nurturing existing customer relationships to ensure your section account grows

* scoping for new business to increase sales and profits

* Understanding customer strategies, business plans, buying behaviours and overall needs.

* Developing and driving sales opportunities to ensure it meets targets

* Advising operations of forecast workloads to ensure they are able to react to market trends

* Developing and driving sales opportunities to ensure targets are met whilst beating the competition

* Informing the innovation team about market and customer trends that should be prioritised and considered when developing new products

* Collaborating with the operations team in order to ensure all customers’ expectations are exceeded and opportunities for customer service improvements are implemented

* Ensuring all company policies and procedures are adhered to

Skills and experiences

* Experience of working within a tooling or moulding environment

* Ability lead, manage and grow a customer account

* Deliver excellent customer satisfaction by continuously meeting customer expectations

* Understand customer needs and communicating effectively

* Network and cooperate with internal stakeholders and service providers to ensure customer needs are satisfied

* Have high value sales experience

* Ability to build strong customer relationships

* Experience of leading major sales opportunities

* Offshore business awareness


* High level engineering discipline
