Job Title: Strategic Sales Executive

Salary: £22,500 p.a + Uncapped Bonus OTE £45,000

Verus Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a fantastic North Nottinghamshire Based IT business in the recruitment of a Strategic Sales Executive and this is due to continued growth.

As my clients Strategic Sales Executive, you will be a motivated, organised and a driven individual who is able to proactively manage your new and existing business pipeline. You will be accountable for the opportunity lifecycle development, account leadership and client management through to the contract signature, whilst promoting my client’s brand and ethos.

My client is looking for a fun, switched-on and sharp person who enjoys working in a team, someone who can communicate well and wants to progress quickly in a fantastic but demanding environment.

Duties:

Create a new business pipeline using targeted campaigns and sales techniques.

Working with key accounts, managing existing clients and upselling potential products.

Contacting new sales leads via sales calls, email etc.

Identify and develop the most attractive opportunities for additional growth.

Utilising your internal team to help you develop sales opportunities.

Arrange sales meetings.

Maintain and manage a database of contacts.

You may also be asked to attend client’s meetings as well as attending trade shows and exhibitions.

About you:

You will possess extensive sales experience.

Be self-motivated, organised and driven.

Have strong communication skills, both written and verbally.

Possess an excellent telephone manner and strong listening and questioning skills.

Be results focused.

Ability to demonstrate sales “ownership”, leading the deal to closure.

Can handle long and complex sales opportunities.
