The Area Sales Manager role in a nutshell
Due to company growth this industry leading brand is now looking for an experienced and ambitious Area Sales Manager in the Manchester area. The ideal ASM needs to have a demonstrable track record of success ideally within building products or home improvement solutions as well as the energy, enthusiasm and creativity to succeed in a challenging yet rewarding sector. The Area Sales Manager would be confident with a strong leadership style and the ability to work in an ever-expanding home improvement environment.
The perfect Area Sales Manager will have a several proven years’ experience in a field sales role, ideally with a local or regional focus selling B2C or trade home improvements solutions. As an Area Sales Manager in the building industry you will need to have a strong commercial focus, surveying experience and people skills with the ability to drive new business opportunities to achieve personal and team revenue targets. You will visit mainly pre-arranged appointments which will lead to surveying properties/sites with the aim to close deals daily whilst upholding high company values and service.
You will liaise with both the Branch manager and the fitting teams on your survey results and there will also be an element of telephone prospecting for new trade business.

The Ideal Area Sales Manager will have:
• Full Clean Driving License
• Proven Sales Background
• Ability to work alone and a keen team player
• A Great Character and Attitude daily
• Experience prospecting new business within domestic and trade
• Computer Literate
• Home improvement Survey Experience
• Strong attention to detail
The role is 08:30 until Job Finish, including one Saturday every month
£25,000 - £27,000 Basic Salary + Bonus OTE £5,000 yet uncapped + Car + Phone + Tablet / PC and much more
