We are currently recruiting for an international aerospace leader for over 35 years and is recognized worldwide for its quality, reliability, and problem solving capability in providing a complete line of products and services in support of composite technology, particularly in aerospace. We are looking for a Purchasing Representative to coordinate material distribution through establishment of approved supplies to support customer satisfaction, and increased profitability. Support the Internal and External Account Managers to maintain and expand the customer account base and to identify, contact, and secure profitable business relationships. Direct sales processes to develop and control the materials sales program. This position will be working in and supporting our UK office.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)



Assist in the development and execution of approved strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives for products, services, revenue, profitability, and market share.

Manage materials sales activities. Also, ensure the creation and maintenance of accurate departmental work instructions.

Service and ensure the continued existence of customer accounts and support establishing new accounts.

Develop relationships and build rapport with supplier contacts and sales representatives and effectively interface with other departments.

Ensure timely, proactive communications to customers and vendors; provide immediate assistance. While working within the policies and guidelines established by the Company.



POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education and/or Experience

Purchasing experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment and/or relevant training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Negotiating experience to ensure competitive pricing received from suppliers supporting profitability and market share on products.

Proficient with a personal computer, word processing programs, and spreadsheets and ability to type.
