Our client a London-based investment manager is looking for an IT Support Analyst to join their team. The individual, reporting to the Head of IT, will play an integral part in the IT Support team in this growing, successful firm.A great opportunity for a dynamic, driven and proactive IT Support Analyst to join the highly experienced team and develop their skills.

Responsibilities - IT Support Analyst

·Point of contact for any issues relating to trading and IT systems within the firm

·Assist all staff on technical, non-technical and support issues as required (1st Line to 3rd Line)

·Respond to all issues in a timely and accurate manner

·Assist with on-site and remote installations, upgrades, testing and resolutions

·Install, build and repair desktops, laptops and additional hardware and software

·Persistently strive to enhance knowledge of IT topics that may benefit the company or members of staff within the company

·Maintain/update/create accurate support documentation

·Maintain documentation of procedures for staff where required

·Able to remove inefficiencies through automation

·A member of the Cyber Security Committee

·Assist the Compliance Team with in house training (Cyber Security and Compliance portal)

Technical Skills -IT Support Analyst

Working knowledge or exposure to most of the below:

·Windows Server 2012, 2016, Active Directory, Replication, Sites, Group Policies, Domains, DNS, DHCP, File & Print, RDS (Remote Desktop Server), Updates

·Emails - Office 365, Mimecast

·Amazon cloud – management, deploy, support

·Microsoft Azure, Azure AD, AD-Sync, AD-Connect

·Mobile Devices, MDM, Intune, Apple, Samsung, Blackberry


·SQL Server

·Networking knowledge/understanding; to troubleshoot connectivity issues

·Knowledge of Windows Clients 10 – build/config/deploy (Laptops, Desktops), upgrades, updates

·Antivirus, Firewall,

·Scripting/programming skills


·IP Telephony (Avaya) with call recording

·Network Switches, Printers, Video Conference

·Business knowledge of trading, equities/options/futures/FX

Personal Qualities - IT Support Analyst

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels

·Interest in financial services and computer technology

·A methodical approach to troubleshooting

·Ideal candidate should have a strong teamwork ethic but be able to work independently in a time sensitive environment whilst being flexible and multi-tasking

·Good process and procedure development skills
