This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our client at an exciting time of rapid growth and success.
About the role
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be a vital part of this company's Finance team processing vendor invoices, and employee expense reports for our client and international subsidiaries.
This role will require strong communication and organizational skills to ensure vendor and employees receive excellent service.
As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will:
Review vendor invoices, record invoices according to company policy.
Maintain accuracy in processing of AP transactions, including accounting coding, timely payments and reconciliations.
Prepare weekly payments to vendors and employees
Review, verify and process employee expense reports to ensure they are in compliance with Company Policy
Process credit card statements
Track, report, and pay of state and local sales and use taxes
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies
Assist with the month end close of accounts payable and accruals
Assist with the coordination and gathering of documents to support auditors requests
Create monthly expense accrual, Sales/Use tax accrual and variance analysis for month end close
Handle various other acunting ie The ideal candidate
The successful Accounts Payable Specialist will be a quick learner with a positive approach and have the ambitiogrow personally and professionally in a fast-paced working environment.
Experience & skills:
3 plus years of accounts payable and general accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
Proven experience in driving problems to a resolution
Strong computer and business solution software skills (NetSuite and concur is a plus)
Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with vendors, management, and auditors
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field is preferred Your Reward
