Mpeople Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a fantastic company based in Heywood.

This is a permanent, full-time position; reporting to the Financial Controller.

Salary - £21,000

Hours – 9am-5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch

Holiday Entitlement – 20 days + bank holidays

Duties Include:

* Timely & accurate processing of supplier invoices onto Sage 200

* Weekly payment runs

* Cheque runs

* Statement reconciliations

* Cash postings of payment

* Direct debit standing orders

* Admin and reconciliation of Euro & Dollar bank accounts

* Sales ledger holiday cover

Experience & Skill Requirements:

* Experience working in a high-volume Purchase Ledger role

* Knowledge of Sage software would be highly beneficial

* Ability to work independently or as part of a team

* Literate/Numerate

* Keen eye for detail

* Good Time Management

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and Outlook
