New Business B2B Sales Executive

Cheltenham

Salary - £22,000 - £28,000 plus Flexible benefits, generous bonus scheme, pension, laptop, mobile phone and much more

Our Market leading client based within the Cheltenham area is looking for a talented and dynamic Sales Executive with a passion for Sales, Client Management and Service to join the team.

Working closely with a dedicated team of field-based development managers, it will be your responsibility to contact potential businesses and clients by phone to generate sales leads, new business appointments and meetings for the Development Managers.

You will be playing a key role in helping to achieve growth plans, working as part of a close team making outbound calls, and looking after prospects to ensure they are ready to sell to them when they are ready to buy.

As a New Business Executive, it will be your responsibility to support customer acquisition by composing and sending new business proposals, and supporting the research and drafting of tender bids, it is key to have excellent written skills. You will also generate information and give insight to the current market, highlighting potential new areas of business opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

Research and qualify potential new business

Contact potential customers by phone to generate sales, new business appointments and leads

Carrying out a variety of cold calling leads and warm leads provided by the company

Using effective questioning techniques to qualify leads

Draft and send new business proposals and tender bids to target audience

Ensure each appointment is well qualified and an opportunity for the Account Manager

Follow up campaigns and warm leads from events

Ideal individual:

Demonstrate experience in working in a sales or cold calling environment

Experience of working in telemarketing, telesales or lead and appointment generation roles

Able to demonstrate strong sales performance and exceeding targets

Confident when speaking with senior managers and directors

Effective questioning abilities

Enthusiastic, energetic and ability to think on your feet
