This is an exceptional opportunity to join Capita in a key position within the Commercial team as a Commercial Analyst. You will be closely working with the sales, project and commercial teams, providing quotations and pricing for Capita network services for new and existing Public Sector customers.
The role is to provide both in-life commercial support for the SWAN (Scottish Wide-Area Network) contract and Public Sector Scotland customers. You will conduct competitive analysis alongside wider market data in order to set the pricing levels for the different solutions on offer. This is a highly competitive business and any exposure to the telecoms industry would be highly desirable. You will be required to become highly familiarised with the technical designs put in place for the network solutions and have a strong understanding of our suppliers various product offerings and price books. This is a forward thinking, fast paced business with excellent scope for personal & career development.
The Commercial Analyst will be expected to analyse customer requirement and create pricing models to suit the requirements.
What you will do:
Commercial support of the Capita Network Solutions businesses (pricing of services and solutions)
Commercial and financial modelling
May be required to present financial model for an opportunity to internal governance board and external customer presentations
Your experience will include:
Demonstrates initiative and takes responsibility for commercial pricing issues, seeing them through to completion
Experience of working for a telecoms provider or dealing with carriers is desirable
Financial/Commercial background with the ability to analyse and create pricing models is desirable
Enjoys a changing environment and working cross-functionally
Background in telecommunications or other relevant industries
