We are currently looking for 2 Payroll Controllers to work on a part-time basis 32hrs per week based at our headquarters in Wolverhampton.

This role reports to the Head of HR and will require you to take full ownership of the company payroll for 400+ employees. As Payroll controller, you are responsible for running the monthly payroll ensuring that it is processed accurately and delivered on time.

You will also independently manage multiple payroll tasks through the Payroll & HR application (SCC Pyramid), ensure total compliance with relevant statutory requirements, company policies, monthly employee turnover and sickness absence KPI’s as well as manage the relationship with our employee benefit service providers.

To be considered for this position you will need to demonstrate the ability to run a full payroll cycle processing experience and will have an in-depth knowledge of all Payroll related legislation.

You will also have excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

As part of your role, you will also be required to run regular reports and analyse data and as such you will need to demonstrate the ability to interpret, translate and manipulate information.

You will be highly motivated, commercially aware and committed to delivering results to strict timelines.

You will also demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively face to face, over the phone and through written documentation.

As you will be working collaboratively across the business you will also need to demonstrate your ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with people across a wide range of responsibilities and disciplines.
