The Role:

Sales and Business Development Manager – Lubricants

As the Business Development Manager you will be working for a leading supplier of lubrication equipment mainly for applications within the automotive sector.

Heavily involved in the sales of lubricants and associated products including Mixing Units, Dispensers Pumps, and Adapters

Emphasis for the BDM will be to seek innovative ways in order to increase spend from existing customer accounts, along with generating fresh leads and closing off business with new customers.

Expected to be out on customer sites, booking appointments and attending meetings around 4 days a week, with one day spent working from your home office; planning, catching up on admin & booking appointments for the following week(s).

Prepare quotes, presenting proposals and attending various trade shows and events where required.

The Ideal Person:

The ideal candidate for this role will be a technical sales person that has sold products to automotive distributors

Ideally you will have sold lubrication and associated products but it is more important that you can demonstrate working with this route to market

It would be extremely essential if you have experience of Automotive sales to Garages, Workshops & Factories

Preferably you will have experience selling Lubricants such as Oils, Greases and other similar equipment

It is desired that you have worked a field sales role in the past and are experienced at arranging your own diary and managing your own time while successfully hitting and exceeding targets

Full Clean Driving License – prepared to spend time working away from home
