Venatu Recruitment Group is a world leader in adhesives manufacturing. They have a worldwide market we have production facilities in Milton Keynes, Frankfurt, Spain, Sweden and North Carolina, USA. We export worldwide and provide technical expertise to our Global Distribution Partners across Asia, Australia and South America.

Their products are used daily in tens of thousands of businesses and households globally- from box closing and carton sealing, the pages in a book, the mattress you sleep on, or the self-adhesive tape used on your next present will all be manufactured using an adhesive.

They have a new opportunity for you to join as an Applications and Process Manager for Europe.

As a member of our commercial team, you would help to drive new business whilst retaining and protecting our existing customer base. Having knowledge of the application equipment used by our customers, will ensure that our products are used in the most efficient way by our customers. Getting the right product first time to the customer will increase the successful continuous business growth.

Role & Responsibilities

Undertake full line customer audits including coat weight checks, application efficiency observations, condition and effectiveness of both application equipment (OEM) and process machinery (OMM).

Run full line trials including tank drain down and refill with relevant products

OEM machine set up to optimise running of our products

Knowledge of OMM machinery to ensure all relevant parameters are adjusted to show our products in the most positive light

Produce and distribute full and detailed reports, internally and externally.

Communicate clearly the advantages of product offerings over and above the competition to both existing and potential customers.

Using a working knowledge of the key OEM application equipment types to make adjustments (where allowed) and recommendations as to the best running of these equipment types.

Follow up in customer complaints as necessary and to make on the spot recommendations to overcome potential customer issues with the usability of products.

Sharing knowledge of both the individual product grades and the varying product types with the customer base to increase sales and knowledge.

Ensures compliance with all Company Policy and Procedures, including, product safety and H&S Legislation

To be the lead in the company approach to safe working practices in the field

The successful candidate preferably will:

Have technical proficiency in adhesives or manufacturing

Have great communication skills, both written and oral

Speak English and German fluently with good knowledge of the French language

Be confident manner with customers

Be accurate with detail

Have a proven successful sales record and be results focused

Be open and available to extensive European and occasional global travel, both of which may occur at short notice.

The role will be based in Milton Keynes, Frankfurt or Germany dependant on the successful applicant.

The role is 60% travel and 40% administration
