Salary: £ 18,000 Pro rata

THE COMPANY

We have 64 stores and over 600 dedicated employees across South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire & East Riding. We are now expanding the team in the Accounts Department within our Branch Service Centre located within Leedale House. We are keen to seek applicants who can bring something special to the team. Excellent service is at the heart of what you would be expected to deliver as Internal and External sources will be relying on you for advice and insight into a wide range of queries.

THE JOB

We are looking for friendly, professional and caring individual who can provide a great service while working in a sometimes-pressured environment. You will know the importance of dealing with questions and queries with confidence and discretion as you will play an important part of our business.

Your main responsibilities will be ensuring the smooth running of the Accounts Department within our Branch Service Centre. On a daily basis you will be preparing reports for the Head of Accounts, Using Sage 200 on a daily basis and offer support to the Accounting Team. You will also take internal calls from our branches and external calls relating to accounts enquires.

HOURS

20 Hours p/w:

With this role we have the flexibility to work the 20 Hours over 3 to 4 days per week.

It is essential that Wednesday will be a day of work due to staffing levels

THE PERSON

The duties will be:

* Ensure the accurate preparation of ad hoc accounting reports as and when requested

* Reconcile accounts on Sage monthly, investigating any errors or omissions and informing the relevant people for review

* Use the Sage Accounting System used accurately and to its full potential.

* Offer support when required to other areas of the accounts department
