As business continues to grow a Project Support Officer is now required to help contribute towards their growing success. You’ll be based at their offices in the Mansfield area of Nottinghamshire on a permanent basis.

To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

Proven experience of working in an administrative role to deadlines

Demonstrable experience of leading a team of people

Strong grasp of Microsoft programmes including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher

Excellent interpersonal skills with those at all levels

Strong Leadership Skills

Good Decision Maker

Good Negotiation Skills

Excellent organisation skills, including the ability to prioritise and work to strict and tight deadlines

Ability to work alone and use own initiative

Willingness and ability to be flexible

The successful candidate will be assisting in the delivery of a wide range of projects across the company that deliver transformational, strategic, regulatory, and operational change to agreed schedules, quality, and budgetary constraints.

Within this position, you’ll also be:

Providing support to ensure the successful delivery and embedding of projects

Gaining confidence of stakeholders to achieve project objectives

Support the strategic planning process in the preparation of business case submission and identification of risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies

Advising on capacity planning from a portfolio perspective

Supporting change management governance and ensure adherence for all projects

Providing project reports as required

Building strong internal networks

Advising on the alignment of portfolio capacity planning and required resources to successfully deliver the programmes/projects

Providing verbal and written communication to company staff regarding project progress

Ensuring consistency of approach; adherence of change governance framework processes and documentation to provide delivery confidence

Creating of end to end project plans including, but not limited to, Project Initiation Documents (PID), Risk Assumptions Issues and Dependencies Logs (RAID) and Post Implementation Review (PIR)

Continually seeking ways to improve the efficiency of the company’s operations and recommend changes to management

Staying aware of industry changes

Salary & Working Hours

Salary is £21,000

Working hours are Monday to Friday
