IT and Supply Chain Support

Salary: Dependant on experience
Location: Within easy reach from Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Ely
Our fantastic client, a market leader in the manufacturing of office products, seeks a driven and proactive individual to become a key support within their facilities and supply chain functions. We are seeking someone who is ambitious and accountable and able to work under pressure to ensure that facilities are maintained in line with group policy.
This is a hybrid role that will suit someone who has a basic but confident knowledge of IT, with experience of facilities maintenance, including running risk assessments and placing purchase orders.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Acting as first point of contact regarding IT and liaising with IT department regarding issues
Set up of IT equipment
Internal auditing – ISO 9001
Liaising with internal teams, external customers, vendors and contractors
Preparation for site visits from contractors
The successful candidate will be a team player, who is pro-active and not reactive and is motivated to provide exceptional support to the business functions.
