Assistant Credit Controller

The successful candidate will join a busy credit control team. They are looking for an enthusiastic individual candidate who is willing to learn and so graduate/junior candidates will be considered.
It is a great time to join a long standing, friendly finance team within a business that really do like to develop and progress their employees.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Chasing outstanding monies both over the telephone and via email.
Acting as the main point of contact for any invoice queries.
Meeting targets for cash allocation.
Collating and reviewing information in relation to the ledger, reporting any issues and working with the Credit Manager
Maintaining regular contact with customers to ensure payment terms are kept to a minimum.
Establishing strong relationships with stakeholders of varying levels.
Maintaining accurate notes.
Other ad-hoc tasks as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
6-12 month experience in an office environment although this is not essential.
A positive approach to problems as and when they arise.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
A target driven attitude.
