Job Title: National Sales Manager – Heat Metering Solutions / District Heating / Social Housing / Heat Networks

Area to be covered: National - Based: Commutable to cover UK

Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 (Depending on Experience) + 10% Bonus (Annually)

Plus: Company Car or Allowance, Pension, Healthcare, Mobile, Laptop and 26 days holiday (plus bank holiday)

• Responsible for managing a team of approximately 6 responsible for sales for all of the National team selling a range of high end manufactured heating metering systems and associated smart control solutions

• Management of specification orientated sales professionals targeting M&E consultants, local authorities and housing associations

• Also managing a small team of trade sales representatives targeting merchants and contractors

• Taking over a team currently achieving approximately £1.5 million per annum with a view to increasing annual turnover to £3million within the next 2 years

• Approximately 70% of your time will be spent managing, mentoring and coaching the sales team

• Remaining 30% of your time will be spent managing and expanding key account relationships

• Provide regular sales forecasts to the management team and report directly into the national sales manager


• Demonstrable track record of managing, coaching, developing sales team to improve performance and overall performance ethically

• Track record in sales of metering systems, smart meters, heat interface units, district heating, pre-payment heating / energy systems / software or related products

• Successful track record in field based sales within the field of district heating / heating or metering

• Experience of successfully managing key account relationships and negotiating at a senior level to achieve national / regional agreements

• Comfortable with regular reporting, forecasting and managing sales team key performance indicators

• Ideally degree educated I business, electrical engineering or related subjects

• Lead from the front management style

• Professional, presentable, experienced, hungry personality


• Established 25 years

• Circa £10million turnover
