20 hours per week

Our client, a successful manufacturing company based in Wolverhampton, is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join its busy accounts team.

Ideally working 20 hours over 5 days per week - Monday to Friday (the client could be flexible on this) duties will include:

* Processing payments using BACS, cheques etc

* Working with suppliers to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues

* Matching and batching invoices/delivery notes

* Reconciling supplier accounts/statements

* Helping other members of the Accounts team when necessary

* Filing and general admin

Ideal candidates will have:

* At least 2 years relevant purchase ledger/accounts payable experience, ideally gained in a relevant or related industry

* Formal accounting qualifications are not necessary but could be advantageous

* Knowledge of computerised accounts packagaes eg sage, quickbooks or pegasus

* A keen eye for detail, high levels of numeracy and the ability to demonstrate that they can maintain high standards of accuracy

Candidates must be available to start immediately on a temportary basis
