eSift are currently on the lookout for an experienced Field Based Sales Professional to join our client, a leading distributor and wholesaler of pharmaceutical, medical and healthcare products.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Field Sales Executive. You will be required to work within their contract sales team, selling a range of healthcare products into independent and small chain pharmacies across the region.

Salary: £26-28k per annum plus commission, company bonus, car & more.

Territory: South East England, covering areas within Surrey, Sussex, Kent, Essex and London.

You will be required to deliver consultative brand sales and detailing in independent retail pharmacy on behalf of designated clients exceeding targets and expectations. You will also accurately and effectively provide qualitative and quantitative information to support service results and client relations.

Within this role, you will call on designated independent pharmacy accounts adopting a consultative sales role on behalf of syndicated clients. Supporting product ‘sell through’ though the provision of quality product and category training including advice on display and customer product conversations.

You will call at the appropriate level of frequency to maximise the commercial opportunity and review, re-plan and communicate any performance or data capture shortfall issues on a regular basis.

To be successful in this position you will have/be;

Previous experience selling pharmaceutical products/brands

Excellent brand management experience

Previous experience in managing a territory - Effective time management and journey planning capabilities as well as own diary management.

Results driven, adaptable to change, a quick learner and highly organised

Excellent interpersonal skills able to communicate effectively with pharmacy teams (decision makers and influencers)

A strong sales process and a structured approach to influencing

Able to build rapport and develop trusted relationships with key staff

Effective presentation skills with good use of a variety of sales aids

Ability to work under pressure, set priorities and to work to deadlines.

Strong commercial acumen and a good decision maker
