Senior Product Manager - Data Analytics
Posted on Jun 10, 2019 by CV-Library
Working as a Product Manager in this organisation is an ever changing, multi-faceted role where you won’t simply work on a problem, deliver a solution and that’s that.
You’ll work closely with a talented team of Software Engineers, DevOps Consultants, Data Engineers and a mixture of other high calibre folk to deliver ever evolving solutions and from time to time, join another area to scale up and achieve companywide goals.
No matter what you are working on, your focus is going to be on data analytics, helping the customer understand customer revenue and customer journey.
As with all of the Product Management team, you will be obsessed with finding out the ‘Why’ behind customer problems; look at the bigger picture, not just a short term solution; obsess over simplicity and work in an Agile/Lean way – this company ships daily, is constantly testing and try to deliver customer value on a weekly basis.
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Product Manager who has demonstrable experience of taking a Product from initial idea to successful delivery.
You will be comfortable working with stakeholders of all levels and being the voice of the customer across the business.
As standard, you will approach problems with the ‘Why’ and formulate a clear and compelling product vision to understand what success looks like as well as how the hell do you get there?
Probably to be expected, but with the focus on data analytics, you’ll be obsessed by generating insights and understand the issues that perhaps a Data Scientist or Data Engineer might have when communicating user problems.
This role can be based from their stunning Edinburgh HQ or they are equally happy for you to be based in their Glasgow base or indeed London office (Tottenham Court Road area for now).
They have a flexible approach to working in general, happy for you to work on-site and indeed from home when needed.
We have a stellar package on offer, with everything you’d expect working for one of the UK’s biggest success stories – top of the range kit, flexible working, state-of-the-art offices.
From a monetary point of view, you will be looking at somewhere in the region of £75-120k basic salary + pension + stock/share options + performance related bonus (companywide) and a range of ‘softer’ perks.
