SQL Database Developer / Designer - SQL / T-SQL - SharePoint

Our major media client based in London is looking for an experienced SQL Database Developer / Designer to join their expanding team.
To support all users and work closely with the IT helpdesk in logging issues and requests and prioritising work with third party suppliers when required, to ensure resolution of issues with minimum downtime. To project manage application and/or software upgrades, often in conjunction with application owners and third party vendors.
To project manage any development work required ensuring delivery within agreed timescales and budget. To work in conjunction with internal business teams and with offshore vendor in all aspects of the internal Data Warehouse development and maintenance.
To be responsible for the overall design, administration and maintenance of the highly available on-premises SQL Server estate. To ensure that maintenance, backup and disaster recovery plans are in place and adhered to by third parties, where applicable.
To manage relationships with suppliers concerning all technical aspects of applications, ensuring business needs are met according to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA). Advise business owners on technical opportunities or developments related to business systems.
To participate in projects and initiatives as agreed. To actively participate in meetings, planning, development and team building events.
It is expected that you will have a very strong background in Database development and administration from SQL Server (Apply online only). In addition you will have spent the last 2/3 years working in a similar role within a dynamic environment. It is expected that you will have strong skills and experience in the following : Advanced SQL and Transact-SQL programming skills, Database migration, security and performance tuning, Powershell scripting, SharePoint 2013/2016 administration. Exposure to .Net / C# application development would be advantageous.
Any of the following would be an added plus but not essential : SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Oracle DBA tasks.
