Our client a leading city based Wealth Management and Accountancy firm are now seeking to appoint a senior administrator to replace a long-serving member of the team. They are looking for someone who has around 5 sold years’ experience as an Administrator within Financial Services - IFA business. Ideally, someone who has or is currently completing their level 4 exams. They will offer study support if the person is mid exams.

The Role

Working with one of the firms senior Financial Advisers you will be helping to look after c100 clients. Strong communication skills are a must as they would like someone who is confident in speaking with clients on the phone and email.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with high net worth clients both over the telephone and in meetings • Ensuring client details on the database are maintained and current • Obtaining illustrations • Submitting & processing new business • Obtaining valuations • Corresponded with clients using standard letter templates and writing own letters & emails • Liaising with insurance companies & investment firms • Ensuring all work complies with both regulatory & internal compliance procedures • Dealing with high net worth clients both over the telephone and in meetings, the role includes

* Preparation for client meetings

* Preparing documents for client reviews

* Assisting paraplanners with research, report writing and reviewing drawdown pension arrangements

* Ensuring IO back office system is up to date • Working with Paraplanners to provide advice for clients – Hand over sheets

Miscellaneous

• Evidence of progress with Certificate in Financial Planning or Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

• Commitment to maintain continued professional development

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills • A polite, confident & friendly manner

• Ability to write clear & concise letters which can easily be understood by clients

• Ability to work in a timely fashion in order to meet company and client expectations • Attention to detail • Ability to prioritise work and complete work within specified deadlines

Software

• Microsoft office package

• Knowledge of Avelo preferred but not essential

The Package

In return, there is a negotiable salary: £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience and a comprehensive benefits package:

* 23 days holiday increasing to 28 (increases 1 day per year)
