Become a Programme Manager with DCC Smart Metering in London:

Seeking a Programme Manager to join our team to work on our Switching Programme, delivering programmes with commercial partners and delivering transformation, technical and commercial elements of the programme.

Looking for programme managers that have managed service providers and worked on regulated environments.

What you will do:

* Hands on delivery leadership experience with large scale complex programmes

* Ensure work packages are developed and clearly owned by the relevant party

* Monitor the delivery of the work packages

* Management of stage gate progress and compliance

* Secure contractual position for effective delivery

* Work collaboratively with supply chain to secure benefit realisation for overall SMIP

* Take clear ownership for specific elements of the programme

* Managing standard project products

* Weekly reporting (including to the programme and highlight reports)

* Managing the project team, plan and deliverables

* Cost control – including price control

* Ensuring timely delivery of products and the overall project

* Keeping DCC directors up to speed with progress, status, risks and issues

* Ensuring that the project objectives are clear and consistent with programme needs

Your experience will include:

* Hands on delivery leadership experience with large scale complex programmes

* Public and private sector background

* Experience of delivering long term programmes dealing with commercial partners

* Experience of managing transformation projects

* Technical and commercial experience/understanding

* Senior leader able to manage genuine complexity and multiple suppliers

* Extensive experience of managing complex systems integration programmes

* Background/Understanding of operations, involved in launching new products into live operation

* Strong matrix management experience

* Experience of working in regulated/political environment with complex external stakeholders

* Experienced in working with Solution Integrators as a third party

* Experienced in project planning tools and reporting methods

* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills and good Emotional Intelligence

* Ability to drive results through matrix management structure

* Strong analytical and results orientated

* Ideally have a background in telecoms, government and/or energy industry (in particular smart metering)
