SQL / ERP Analyst – develop brand new systems
Posted on Jun 10, 2019 by CV-Library
Working alongside the current and experienced Epicor ERP specialist in the IT team, you will be required to make continuous improvements to the ERP system that was implemented back in 2017. As they are a manufacturing organisation, it would be handy to understand how these types of companies operate, however this isn’t essential. You will be continuing to build the ERP system across the business and due to sales improving the past year, there are plenty of new projects to work on. These projects include implementing SharePoint in the next few months.
The company use the latest technology and this role is for someone who wants to develop new systems, not maintain old ones. They use SQL Server 2017 as an example and want someone who is very passionate about learning.
The company can also take on someone who has solid SQL database skills and who is willing to learn the Epicor system. There will be plenty of training on offer as you will be sitting alongside an ERP expert and they are well set up for training. You would ideally have knowledge of how an ERP, CRM or similar system operates, and be able to utilise your SQL skills as Epicor sits on a SQL Server database.
The company are experiencing a period of solid sales and have recently revamped their offices. They have on site parking and are a five-minute drive from the city centre.

** ERP or MRP systems knowledge - development and support (desirable not essential)
** SQL or relational database knowledge (SSRS, SQL Server, T-SQL)
** Experienced in Supply Chain / Manufacturing Management (desirable)
** Knowledge of CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce, Dynamics/Navision, JDE, Agresso, EBS)
