The minimum requirements for IT Technical Support are:
Recent experience working with Technical Support role (Essential)
Must have a proven strong analytical approach to problem solving (Essential)
Experienced and knowledgeable with SQL (Essential)
Ability to ensure test and evaluate new program functionality and software bugs (Essential)
Have proven experience giving good customer service by phone/email or web meetings (Essential)
The ideal candidate will have a background knowledge of either manufacturing or sourcing industries. They will also have experience of software support and implementation/training.
The purpose of this role is to provide effective and proactive solutions to all customers and agents. This includes implementing and developing new products.
The main responsibilities for IT Technical Support are:
To provide support to customers via; Email, Phone and or webinars
Assisting the QA team by testing program modifications and bug fixes
Ensuring that excellent customer service is given at all times
Ensuring all modifications are logged onto the appropriate system
Building client specific models to assist the sales team in demonstrating products to prosepctive clients
