The role will offer the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to develop their skills and expertise leading to the continuous development of the services that the IT department has to offer. Undertaking builds of PC hardware including software deployment and supporting our service, are key technical elements of this role together with server monitoring.
The IT department also ensures key departmental processes are followed by the team, such as call escalation, documentation and start of day checks that are reported upon.
What is required:
·It would be advantageous to have a working knowledge of systems such as Active Directory, VMWare, DNS, Networking and software deployment from a systems administration perspective, but this is not essential.
·Previous experience working on a 1st/2nd line helpdesk is essential.
·Document and administration skills that lend themselves to supporting the team in maintaining documentation to operational and audit standards are also desirable
