Summary of Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to work within the Raytheon Alternative Positioning, Navigation and Timing (APNT) business area within Global Sensors. The role will provide support to the System Design Authority, supporting the development and management of project requirements, generation of customer technical documentation, participation in technical design reviews and supporting the generation of bid proposal material and submission of bids in response to customer requests.

•A logical problem solver who can operate effectively under time constraints
•Good communication skills in verbal, written and presentational forms
•Ability to manage and work within agreed timescales
•Self-motivated and Team Player with a willingness to learn
•Experience working simultaneously across multiple projects
•Ability to work with minimal direction from senior engineers
•Degree or equivalent in a STEM discipline
•Experience defining requirements for new systems
•Experience of tracing requirements through test plans, via evidence, to customer sell-off
•Experience of integrating products to military platforms
•Experience using configuration management systems
•A basic understanding of cost estimating
•A basic understanding of Navigation Systems, specifically Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS)
•Aspirations to attain Systems Engineering Chartership
