We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accounts Administrator on a Fixed Term Contract to join our team in Rugby. This role reporting to the Financial Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring our Ledgers are kept fully updated and accurate

Principle Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

* Accurate manual allocation of payments received from customers

* Chasing overdue accounts via telephone and email

* Assist with the monthly production of customer statements

* Replacing manual customer records with the new month

* Providing any other Sales Ledger support as required

* Code and post third party suppliers invoices, debit notes, credit notes and Sales Engineer expenses onto the Purchase Ledger

* Reconcile third party suppliers invoices on price and delivery against the WAGO Purchase Order

* Supplier Statement reconciliations

* Complete new supplier account forms and open new accounts on both the Proprietary and SAP system

* Assist in supplier payments

* Liaising directly with internal and external customers on all aspects of the Purchase Ledger invoices

Your background and experience

* Solid experience in both Sales and Purchase Ledger

* Sound basic accounting and / or bookkeeping knowledge

* Strong interpersonal skills

* Strong IT skill set, particularly Microsoft Excel and ideally SAP

* Pro-active and flexible approach to work
