- Technical experience with Python and SQL
- Deep understanding of data science, including statistics, machine learning, and programming.

- Excellent communication skills, both upward and downward, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged.
- No management experience is required, this can be a step up for you.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in managing data science projects, adhering to agile principles.
- Skilled in developing novel data science models and implementing end-to-end Machine Learning systems.
- Commitment to promoting best practices in data science and software development.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead data science projects, overseeing project plans and ensuring clarity in the definition, integration, and experimentation of data science products.
- Direct and mentor a team of talented data scientists, fostering their personal and technical development.
- Cultivate and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Manage data science projects following agile principles, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Drive the development and productionization of innovative data science models and systems.
- Uphold best practices in data science and software development through code reviews and Pull Request evaluations.
- Provide thought leadership in data science, contributing to the growth of the data science community.
- Propose, assess, and scope new data science projects, estimating their potential value.
Remuneration:
- Up to £75,000
- 10 to 15% bonus
