Audio Visual Engineer
Role: AV Engineer/PM (ITIL)
Location: Hybrid working with onsite presence in London offices (up to 2 days a week)
Duration: 6 months (Rolling)
Rate: £450 (Inside IR35)
Key Essential Skills:
- VTC: experience setting up video, microphones, speakers and communication tools
- POLY; Configuration and Installation as well as setting up meeting room environments
- 5-7 years experience of Audio and video systems such as Cisco/Webex, Zoom, Crestron, MS Teams
- Essential experience working with O365 specifically MS Teams
- MS Teams experience; understanding of supporting Teams Meeting Rooms
- Document Management: the ability to document the process and repeatable deployment documentationx
- AV - proven background in delivering projects
- Traveling to multiple global sites
- Proven track record working alongside PMO and Project managers
Desirable Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to work effectively with a wide range of design, construction, and technology specialists
- Good understanding of network technologies and security concepts
- Able to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and complete tasks on time
- Able to quickly adapt to new technical concepts and tools
- Strong customer focus and able to communicate optimally with personnel at all levels (staff to executive)
- Excellent hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Personal sense of accountability
Overview:
- An exciting opportunity has opened for a Video Conferencing Engineer to join us on a contract basis with an immediate start working with a United Kingdom-based company in the investment banking sector company headquartered in the City of London. The VC Engineer will report into the Director of Voice and Video but dot into the End User Services Programme Delivery Directors Voice and Video Programme Team co-located with the Voice & Video PM, Real Estate Teams and Technical Engineers to deliver new capabilities into 70 countries across 500 meeting rooms which may have some requirement for travel to global locations if required.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Define, document, and propose audio video support processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide consultation and guidance to project teams on audio video solutions.
- Ensure effective and reliable operations for technology in meeting rooms across the enterprise.
- Provide oversight and management to third-party support teams for incident resolution, service requests, and change management.
- Collaborate with project teams for new project/site buildouts, changes, and physical conference room issues.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to coordinate network, infrastructure, and other systems issues
- Must be willing to travel to global locations if required
