An American Investment banking client of mine is looking for a Golang Developer Engineering Lead to join their London based team working in the Generative AI Space.

As a Senior Golang Developer working in the Generative AI space, you will play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing AI-driven solutions that push the boundaries of financial modelling, risk assessment, and trading strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and domain experts to create innovative software solutions that drive our business forward.

The team are solely focused on the most modern technology and engineering disciplines such as generative AI, cloud, security, modern app stacks (with Golang, Gatekeeper), open source and the latest and greatest in the Kubernetes ecosystem.

Required Skillset:

• Proficient in Kubernetes, Back End platform development, and scalable API engineering.
• Fluent in Golang at least one other programming language (eg, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience designing control and sandboxing systems for AI research.
• Familiarity with PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Experience in bug bounty and responsible disclosure programs.
• Understanding of language models and transformers.
• Strong knowledge of vector stores and search algorithms.
• Large-scale ETL development expertise.
• Direct experience in engineering high-performance, large-scale ML systems.
• Hands-on MLOps experience, including CI/CD processes.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced startup engineering environment.
• Familiarity with LangChain and potential contributions to the project.
• Well-recognized contributor to open-source projects, with innovative tooling ideas and a focus on standardizing API creation and ML/Ops automation methods.
