We have an excellent permanent job opportunity for an experienced Head of Cyber Services to lead our SME clients' operational management for their growing number of client base. You will provide the strategic direction for their operational Cyber services function and contribute to their strategic business plan.

Due to the nature of the role there is a requirement of 3 days per week in their office in Wales with travel expenses etc covered, dependent on location.

Other roles and responsibilities include:-

• Account Ownership of all Enterprise cyber operations team of first line support, second line analysts, third line specialist employees
• Create processes and staff upskilling initiatives to enable delivery of new Service Offerings
• Manage staff performance reviews, quarterly reviews and any people management issues
• Direct the cyber operations team on a day to day basis, providing cyber expertise, managing resources and coordinating with other teams to meet service requirements
• Oversee the adoption of managed cyber services into operation
• Drive continual service improvement, encouraging cyber analysts to make best use of the tools and methodologies at their disposal
• Produce and deliver the reporting on adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) & Management Information for the CRO and the Board
• Raise any cyber security risks/issues
• Ensure the Cyber Operations team are providing a good level of customer service (via incident handling, reporting, service reviews and escalations)
• Work with the commercial team to ensure that managed services are operating within agreed budgets
• Proven ability to lead customer escalations and incidents whilst dealing with competing priorities

• Proven experience of managing and/or delivering a security operations centre
• Proven experience in delivering cyber-focussed services
• Desire to design, build and deliver market leading cyber service operations
• Proven experience in delivering cyber-focussed managed services
• Desire to design, build and deliver market leading cyber service operations
• Proven experience of managing and/or delivering a security operations centre
• Degree-level qualification or appropriate cyber experience (CISSP, CISM, or similar is preferable)
• Experience of financial management, budgeting & cost optimisation
• Highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
• Proven Capability in managing multiple delivery customers up to C-Level stakeholders
• Competent in Pen Test/VA scan and incident processes
• Knowledge in article update, DevOps Scripting/automation and playbooks
• Must be SC clearable
